Levenhuk MED D45T LCD is a trinocular microscope with a 5MP LCD digital camera. It is intended for visual observations by phase contrast, in the bright or dark field and with the use of oil immersion and Köhler illumination. Moreover, you can take photos and videos of the entire research process with the use of this microscope. The microscopes in the Levenhuk MED 45 series are equipped with an infinity-corrected optical system that is used in professional and high-class microscopes. This system includes Infinity PlanAchromat objectives and allows for obtaining clear, high contrast images with a high level of flatness.
One of the most important features of an infinity-corrected optical system is that it allows for installing any additional parts in the optical path between objective lenses and an ocular tube. The additional parts include polarizers and epi-fluorescence light. All in all, modular design and simple operation make Levenhuk MED 45 optimal microscopes for use in different kinds of microscopy and working in hematological, histological, microbiological, and other laboratories.
The trinocular head is divided into the binocular visual module and a separate eyepiece tube for positioning the digital camera. The camera is included in the kit and allows for taking HD photos and videos. Images from the microscope objectives can displayed in the in-built LCD of the camera and to the external display or TV connected. Installation of software or drivers is not required – the camera will start to operate immediately after it is plugged in. Moreover, external data storage, earphones, computer mouse, and other accessories can be connected to the camera. The trinocular head rotates around its axis by 360° and the visual part has a comfortable inclination of 30°.
The kit includes wide-field 10x eyepieces. You can adjust diopters to fit the optical system to your eyesight. Both coarse and fine sharpness adjustment is available. The revolving nosepiece can accommodate five objectives; however, the kit includes only four. They are phase contrast plan achromatic objectives that reduce optical distortion and improve the color and contrast of images. 40x and 100x objective lenses have spring rims. A 100x objective lens can be used for oil immersion. All optics are made of special glass with anti-fungal coating.
The double-coordinate stage has a mechanical scale. Under the stage, there is a phase contrast condenser (dark field can only be used for the “dry” method of observations), and below it there is an LED light with brightness adjustment. The light is powered by an AC power supply.

Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug an 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.

Levenhuk MED D45T LCD Digital Trinocular Microscope is also compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (additional cameras are purchased separately). Levenhuk cameras are installed in the eyepiece tube instead of an eyepiece. This microscope is also compatible with any other digital microscope cameras.
