Description

Levenhuk 700M Monocular Microscope – biological metal-bodied microscope designed for studying transparent samples in transmitted light. This microscope can be used for studying and hobby; it will help in conducting medical and clinical research and can be applied in bacterioscopy and cystoscopy. Levenhuk 700M Microscope will take its rightful place in a home laboratory or educational or medical institution.

The microscope is equipped with a revolving nosepiece with 4 objective lenses. The kit includes achromatic objective lenses of different magnification power; one of them is the immersion-type lens. The use of immersion oil can significantly enhance the brightness of the observed microscope samples and expand magnification limits. Two wide field eyepieces included in the kit – 10x eyepiece and 20x Huygens eyepiece – perfectly accompany each other and allow for a wide range of visual observations. The overall magnification range of the microscope is from 40x to 2000x.

The monocular head is inclined at 45°, which is especially important during long-term observations. This position reduces the load on the neck muscles and provides maximum comfort during observations. For more convenient group work, the microscope head rotates around its axis. You won’t need to turn the whole instrument to show details of observed samples to your colleagues or students.

The microscope stage moves vertically and horizontally – that’s why it’s convenient to observe samples even at maximum magnification. The stage has a coordinate scale that helps you determine the accuracy of movement along the axes. The stage is controlled manually. The focusing features two types of adjustment – coarse and fine.

The illumination with adjustable brightness is located below the stage. An Abbe condenser with iris diaphragm is used for even better illumination of observed samples. It directs the light precisely on the studied sample. The condenser has special centering screws. The illumination is powered through an outlet; power cord is included.

Caution: Please refer to the specifications table for the correct mains voltage and never attempt to plug a 110V device into 220V outlet and vice versa without using a converter. Remember that mains voltage in the U.S. and Canada is 110V and 220–240V in most European countries.
