Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 AZ Telescope is a compact refractor perfect for entry-level astronomical observations. This model features high-quality optics, reliable construction and remarkable ease of use. With this telescope you will be able to observe lunar craters, phases of Venus, atmospheric flows of Jupiter, rings of Saturn and a large variety of other celestial objects. Levenhuk Skyline 50x600 is also suitable for terrestrial observations.
The lenses are covered with a special coating, which allows for maximum light-gathering capacity of the optics. As a result, the images you can enjoy with this telescope are always sharp and clear.
The telescope comes with 5x optical finder scope, which helps you easily find desired celestial objects. The kit also includes three eyepieces: 20 mm, 12.5 mm and 4 mm, when installed on the telescope the eyepieces provide 30x, 48x and 150x magnification power respectively. Remember that the higher the magnification, the narrower the field of view you can observe; that’s why it’s important to start your observations with an eyepiece with the longest focal length. The kit also contains 3x Barlow lens that will help you significantly extend the range of the telescope’s magnifications. To use the telescope for terrestrial observation, you can use 1.5x erecting eyepiece, which provides direct (not inverted and not mirrored) images and is also included in the kit.
The telescope tube is installed on an altazimuth mount, allowing you to move the tube horizontally and vertically. A sturdy aluminum tripod that supports the mount comes with a convenient accessory tray, and that means additional eyepieces and the Barlow lens will also be within easy reach during your observations.
