The Levenhuk Blitz 60 BASE telescope is designed for novice astronomers. It is easy to handle and it has an extended kit. It is perfect for studying lunar and terrestrial landscapes. This model is an excellent choice for those who are only going to make their acquaintance with space and astronomy. It is a great gift for adults as well as children.
This achromatic refractor renders a clear and sharp image due to its optics made of glass with an anti-reflective coating. Due to the large aperture (60mm), it allows for observing the Moon and terrestrial landscapes. You can also observe bright deep-sky objects and some planets of the solar system, but the details will be invisible.
A fork azimuth mount features a screw on the vertical axis, which allows you to set a telescope on the selected object accurately. The adjustable aluminum tripod features an accessory tray. Due to its extended kit, the telescope does not require additional investment, so it can be a great gift for a science amateur.
