The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 10x42 binoculars are a trusted companion for any traveler and nature enthusiast. These binoculars bring the world closer so you can study your surroundings in detail, observe wildlife, and scout the landscape for landmarks even in less-than-ideal weather. The binoculars are resistant to rain, snow, fog, dust, and dirt thanks to their IP67-rated housing. They can even withstand brief immersion in water up to a depth of one meter, e.g., falling into a river or lake. For added protection, the housing is nitrogen-purged. This inert gas prevents internal fogging occurring, which is caused by sudden temperature changes. It also stops internal corrosion and oxidation as well as inhibits the growth of fungi and bacteria.
The Levenhuk New Vegas ED 10x42 binoculars feature high-quality optics that deliver a consistently bright, true-to-life, and sharp image in any conditions. The optics combine BaK-4 roof prisms with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lenses to minimize chromatic aberration and color distortions. All of the lenses and prisms are multi-layer coated, which enhances image brightness and ensures a clear image even in twilight. With 10x magnification and a 6.5° field of view, these binoculars are ideal for general observation at medium distances as well as for tracking moving objects and watching wild animals and birds from a safe distance.
The binoculars can be adjusted for individual comfort. The interpupillary distance adjusts from 63mm to 78mm, and the diopter correction can be set within a ±4D range. The eyecups feature a twist-up mechanism with three fixed positions.
