Levenhuk Guard 2500 binoculars are 8x high-aperture binoculars equipped with a laser rangefinder that can measure the distance to a target and terrain angles at a distance of up to 2,500 meters (8,200ft). It saves you from having to take two optical devices with you when hiking or hunting – the Levenhuk Guard 2500 already has everything you need. The functionality of Levenhuk Guard 2500 enables you to take measurements to solve various problems – determining the distance of the shot when tracking the game, measuring the distance between key landmarks (bridges, power line towers, poles), building a map of the area, guarding large territories and borders, etc.
The optical scheme of the binoculars is based on roof prisms and fully coated glass. The optical system is sufficient for making observations in difficult conditions when there is not enough external light (cloudy weather, at dusk). All the fine details are clearly visible and the image is bright. The rangefinder can operate in scan mode or take single distance measurements. A choice of first or second target priority is also available. For example, if you are looking at an object through tree branches, the second (distant) target priority setting will ensure that the rangefinder ignores the foreground obstacles and accurately calculates the distance to a background target. The first (foreground) target priority is a mode that works in a similar way but serves for detecting near-sighted targets, ignoring the background.
Levenhuk Guard 2500 Rangefinder Binoculars can measure straight and horizontal distances as well as calculate terrain angles. When the target is under or above the shooter, it is especially relevant to measure angles and distances.
Also note that Levenhuk Guard 2500 has a wide field of view and smart functionality for adjusting the device to the user’s needs – there is diopter adjustment and it is possible to adjust the focus for each eyepiece.
