Levenhuk Bruno PLUS 30x80 Binoculars are created for those who are eager to view the most remote celestial and terrestrial bodies: The relief of the lunar surface, phases of Venus, and close binary stars. Despite high magnification, a 2.4° field of view covers an area wide enough to capture the target in objective lenses.
The device provides a powerful 30x magnification for extra-detailed terrestrial and space observations. The 80mm objective lenses collect maximum light in poor lighting conditions. The optical design is based on BaK-4 glass Porro prisms and K9/ZF1 glass lenses that have a full multi-layer anti-reflective coating for brightness and contrast across the entire field of view. The optics produce a clear and rich image and allow you to distinguish small details in low light, which is highly appreciated by astronomy enthusiasts.
Aluminum alloy body is fully sealed according to the IP67 standard, i.e., dust- and waterproof. The nitrogen filling prevents lenses from internal fogging during the rapid temperature changes that may occur during night observations. The rubber coating of the binoculars improves the grip, and the 3-position twist-up eyecups help to set them at a comfortable distance from the eyes. Central focusing and diopter adjustment allow you to focus quickly in accordance with eyesight peculiarities.
Since the binoculars provide a high magnification, it is difficult to observe in a handheld manner: The image is not stable enough, the weight of the binoculars is strongly felt and causes fatigue. Stationary usage with a tripod is recommended. Any tripod with a standard 1/4 inch mount is suitable for mounting the binoculars. The built-in adapter ensures quick mounting without the need to purchase an additional adapter.
