Description

Wide angle binoculars, Levenhuk Atom 8x40 are designed especially for those who appreciate quality and reliability. Classical Porro-prism design ensures bright and contrast views, and the reliable rubberized shell is a must for observations in the field. First class optics, ergonomic design, excellent technical characteristics – these binoculars will become a loyal and trusted assistant in your adventures, whether hiking, hunting, or birdwatching.

These Porro-prism binoculars guarantee the highest quality produced images. All optical elements are made of fully coated borosilicate BK-7 glass, which ensures vivid, crystal-clear images.

Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars can be adjusted to suit the individual user: interpupillary distance has an adjustment range of 56 to 72mm, and the right eyepiece is equipped with a diopter adjustment ring. Soft rubber eyecups ensure maximum comfort during observations. The rubber coating of the shell softens impacts and prevents moisture, dirt, or dust from entering the instrument.

Questions and Answers
Hannibal Khan (2018.01.24)
Hello! Is this model suitable for observations in mountains? Would you recommend something else? And one more question: can all the Levenhuk binoculars be used under rain?
Customer service:
Yes, Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars can be used for observations in mountains. We do not recommend using it in the rain, as this model is not hermetically sealed, and water can enter its inside parts. For observations in the rain, we recommend using binoculars filled with nitrogen. Consider Levenhuk Sherman BASE 8x42, https://www.levenhuk.com/catalogue/binoculars/levenhuk-sherman-base-8x42-binoculars/ .
Victor Martin (2016.02.13)
How they deal with abberation?
Customer service:
Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars feature fully coated optics so abberation is reduced to minimum.
Don Carter (2015.11.05)
Can I use it for observing at dusk?
Customer service:
Yes, Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars are suitable for observations in dim light conditions.
Petro Zaaz (2015.09.21)
I'm looking for a model with similar specifications and build quality but more lightweight. I need 8x40 binoculars exactly, for observing landscapes
Customer service:
Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars shipping weight is 4.2 lbs (with packaging and accessories), the binoculars weight only 1.3 lbs. All similar models have approximately the same weight.
Alex Lee (2015.05.24)
Are they waterproof? Thx
Customer service:
Levenhuk Atom 8x40 Binoculars are not waterproof, but their rubberized shell protects the optics from water. For example, you can observe in light rain.
