Glenn Caplin (2014.05.15)
How to fix sample inside the slide? I put a sample (thin slice) on a slide then cover it with a cover slip. But they do not stick together. And when I use oil cover slip sometimes gets glued to the objective lens because of the oil and comes off.I'd like to keep these samples for the future... so what do I need to prepare proper microscope slides?
Customer service:
Edges of the cover slip must be secured with wax, special resin or other substance to keep glasses together and make the sample impermeable.
Steven Kahn (2013.12.06)

Jeffrey Ryan (2013.11.06)
What's better: cover slips or blank slides? What's the difference?
Customer service:
The cover slip along with the glass slide, are the essential parts of the home sample preparation process. They differ in size. A sample should be placed on the blank slide and then covered with the cover slip - it's small and very thin.
Jane Voxland (2013.09.22)
for how long one cover slip can be used?
Customer service:
With proper care the service life is unlimited.
Liza Morton (2013.04.13)
Is there an expiration date for cover slips? How are they supposed to look like? I mean transparency and cleanness, what are the storage conditions?
Customer service:
Cover-glass slips do not have any expiration date. They are square transparent pieces of glass. They don't require any special storage conditions.
Marty Hafer (2013.04.06)
