Description

Meade LightBridge Plus Telescope features a modern, sleek design with a no-tool assembly. This telescope has a large light-gathering capability and provides bright, clear images when you observe deep-space objects such as galaxies, nebulae, planets, and much more. There are models with 10, 12, & 16-inch apertures. Due to the open truss design, this telescope is portable and features an easy setup. The redesigned Dobsonian base with a no-tool assembly provides a stable stand. The telescope comes with roller bearings, a hand-adjustable variable tension brake for smooth and stable movement, and a mounted eyepiece holder that can carry 2" and 1.25" eyepieces.

This telescope features an upgraded 2" two-speed Rack & Pinion Focuser. The Rack & Pinion design includes a 10:1 fine focus knob for precise focusing and includes a Vernier scale with millimeter markings on the drawtube to assist with focusing accuracy. The kit includes a 3-element, fully multi-coated 2" Series 4000 26mm eyepiece that provides a 56 degree apparent field of view, and an aluminum Red-Dot Viewfinder. Meade’s AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition software displays more than 15,000 celestial wonders. This software allows observing the night sky, constellations, planet positions wherever you perform observations.
