Description

Levenhuk Skyline Travel Sun 70 Telescope is a lightweight and simple–to-operate refractor with excellent optical capabilities. This telescope is perfect to use far away from the city lights. This telescope will be great for observing the planets of the Solar system and the Moon’s surface. In conditions of minimum light pollution and fine weather, you can observe the Messier objects (details will be invisible), lunar craters with up to 8 km diameter, and stars of up to 11.5 magnitude. An included diagonal prism delivers an upright (undistorted) image that allows for convenient observing of terrestrial objects with the telescope.

The kit includes a solar filter made of thick protective film – this telescope will be great for viewing the sunspots. You must be very careful when observing solar activity. Always make sure a solar filter is securely attached to the telescope tube. The filter must completely cover the aperture. Never look at the Sun and bright area of the sky around it through the finder scope.

An extended kit includes 67x and 20x eyepieces and a 3x Barlow lens, a solar filter and a diagonal prism. You will be able to obtain 200x magnification with these optical accessories. This telescope comes with a 5x24 finder scope.

This telescope is compact due to a 40-cm-long optical tube. Even a child will be able to operate an altazimuth mount – this optical tool simply moves along vertical and horizontal axes with the help of a special handle. This telescope does not require additional setup: just assemble it and adjust the height of an aluminum tripod.

The telescope, a mount, a tripod and all optical accessories will easily fit into the branded backpack included in the kit. You can take it to a journey or go to the park on a fine day to observe the Sun.

CAUTION! Never look directly at the Sun without a special protective solar filter, or permanent eye damage may result, even up to total blindness!
