The Levenhuk Blitz 80 PLUS telescope is an excellent choice for a beginner. The advanced kit includes everything you need for observations. It allows for observing the Moon, planets of the solar system as well as deep-sky objects. This telescope transmits a bright and detailed image of the nearest to Earth objects. It is also suitable for terrestrial observations, so it can be used instead of a spotting scope.
The telescope uses an achromatic refractor scheme. It features glass lenses with an anti-reflective coating. The optical tube is installed on an equatorial mount, this makes long observations convenient. The slow-motion control knobs allow for manual control. The aluminum tripod of the telescope can be easily adjusted to the height of the observer. It features an accessory tray.
The telescope is interesting for its kit: it is more extended than that of many similar models. It includes three eyepieces for space exploration, the eyepiece for terrestrial observation, a Barlow lens, and a diagonal mirror. This eliminates the necessity to purchase additional accessories.
