The Levenhuk Blitz 70s BASE telescope is a short-focus refractor on a tabletop tripod. It is a great choice for a small apartment or trip. It is very compact. This model is extremely easy to handle and the kit includes all of the required accessories. The telescope is ideal for the Moon, planets of the solar system, or terrestrial objects observations. You can also observe bright deep-sky objects, but the details will be invisible.
The telescope uses an achromatic refractor scheme. It features glass lenses with an anti-reflective coating. The optics render a clear and sharp image and provide a good overview so that, when studying terrestrial landscapes, the telescope will be an excellent replacement for a spotting scope. The optical tube is installed on an azimuth mount with a convenient focus adjustment knob. The compact tripod has a fixed height, it is stable, and made of aluminum.
The kit includes three eyepieces, a Barlow lens, and a diagonal mirror. The accessories allow for achieving the highest practical power of the telescope, so you do not need to buy anything separately.
