We proudly present the Discovery optics series that is produced by Levenhuk and endorsed by Discovery.
The Levenhuk Discovery Spark 809 EQ with a book will be enjoyed by both beginners and more experienced users. It is a long-focus refractor with achromatic optics that enables you to study the Moon in detail, view the planets, and observe other deep-sky objects. The telescope does not have to be left unused during the day either: It can serve as a spotting scope with high-power magnification to observe terrestrial objects.
The equatorial mount, which is used to point the Levenhuk Discovery Spark 809 EQ telescope, is equipped with slow-motion control for accurate and comfortable positioning. You can easily track objects that are drifting out of your field of view as they are moving across the sky. The optics of the achromatic refractor produce an image free of color distortion, and the anti-reflective coating makes it clear and crisp. You can observe the night sky at different magnifications by changing and combining eyepieces and a Barlow lens. An erect image eyepiece and a diagonal mirror for terrestrial observations are also already included.
During observation, the accessories are kept on a tray in the center of the tripod in special compartments. The tripod is made of aluminum and stands sturdy on any surface. Among all of these accessories, you will find one more useful item in a colorful gift box: The “Space. Non-empty emptiness” knowledge book. It is a colorfully illustrated encyclopedia that presents interesting facts about astronomical objects in an easy-to-understand format.
