A phase contrast device is a phase condenser, plan achromatic phase objectives and a centering phase telescope, which are intended for use with Levenhuk MED 30/35/40/45 microscopes and similar models. All of the accessories come in a durable aluminum case.
The phase condenser is installed in place of the standard microscope condenser, after which it can be used for observations using three methods: brightfield, darkfield, and phase contrast. You can switch between the microscopy techniques by rotating a dial. Objectives with a phase ring are used for phase-contrast observations, and there are three of them in this set: with a magnification of 10x, 40x, and 100x.
Phase contrast microscopy is an observational method that provides a perfect picture of low-contrast living samples. This method increases the contrast of the sample, makes it possible to clearly see its structure and does not reduce the image resolution.
