Description

The MAGUS CBF50 Digital Camera is designed for use with a microscope. It enables you to take photos and record videos, edit the resulting materials, and organize demonstrations.
It is recommended to use the camera in the brightfield method with 40х, 60х, and 100х objectives.

Resolution adjustment

The camera is equipped with a 3.1MP sensor and has two resolution modes: 2048x1536px (with the ability to record video at 53fps) and 1024x768px (85fps). The frame rate in these modes is sufficient to observe moving objects, fast processes, and sample movements without delays. Video recording is smooth, without jerkiness or freezing when the frames transition, and photos are clear and easy-to-read.

Sensor

The SONY Exmor backlit CMOS sensor with a light sensitivity of 1146mV at 1/30s will help you conduct productive research and shooting even in low-light conditions.

Data transfer

The camera is equipped with a USB3.0 interface that is 10 times faster than the previous generation interface. Data transfer occurs without freezing or jumping, which helps in organizing demonstrations and instantly displaying images on an external screen.

Getting started

The camera comes with the necessary software to take photos and record video, edit the graphic materials, conduct demonstrations, and perform linear and angular measurements (the function requires calibration, which must be performed for each objective).

Key features:

  • The camera is installed in the microscope trinocular tube or in the eyepiece tube (a C-mount adapter and an adapter ring of suitable diameter are required)
  • Two resolution and fps modes in order to choose the one that best suits your needs at the given moment
  • Ability to observe and film even in low light thanks to the sensitive backlit SONY Exmor color sensor
  • Accelerated data transfer via USB3.0 interface
  • To work with all the functions of the camera, you only need to install the software that comes with the device

The kit includes:

  • Digital camera
  • USB cable
  • Installation CD with drivers and software
  • User manual and warranty card
