Description

The Levenhuk M500 BASE Digital Camera is the advanced model of the Levenhuk M BASE series with a 5 megapixel sensor. You will be able to receive high-quality images with a resolution of up to 2592x1944 pixels, record video, and broadcast it on a large screen. The camera can be used at lectures or in classrooms, for home studies and work.

The camera can be installed on a biological or stereoscopic microscope of any brand. In the basic configuration, it can be used with an eyepiece tube of 23.2mm diameter. With an adapter, the camera is compatible with microscopes of other diameters. The camera is used in place of an eyepiece and after connecting to the computer, the image is displayed on the screen in real time.

You can use the camera as a digital eyepiece, capturing interesting moments of research or recording video. Choose an appropriate camera mode by using the special Levenhuk software that comes in the kit.

The kit includes a CD with special software that allows you to edit previously saved images: zoom them, crop them, change the contrast, and so forth.

To ensure the best possible performance of your new camera, make sure your computer complies with the system requirements specified by the manufacturer. Compatible OS include Mac, Linux, and Windows. A USB 2.0 port is required to establish a connection. If the software does not run on your computer, please contact us and specify your operating system and its version (for Linux: platform and kernel version).

The latest version of Levenhuk Software for Windows supports eight languages: English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.

Levenhuk Digital Camera is compatible with microscopes of 23.2mm eyepiece tube diameter. The camera can also be mounted on eyepiece tubes of other diameters using adapters (not included in the kit).

The kit includes:

  • Levenhuk microscope digital camera
  • USB cable for connection to PC or laptop and power supply
  • Installation CD with Levenhuk image editing software and the required drivers
  • User manual and lifetime warranty

Questions and Answers
Lacey (2019.10.22)
The M500 BASE doesn't fit snugly into the eyepieces of our dissection scopes. Is there an adapter available? I'm measuring the inner diameter of our eyepieces to be 30mm.
Customer service:
Dear Lacey, thank you for your inquiry. Currently we do not have adapters in our product range. But you can use the adapter of any brand. We also have M Plus cameras that come with 2 adapters and will fit the 30mm eyepiece tube. Is there any additional information you might need?
