Levenhuk LabZZ SP10 Astroplanetarium is a wonderful gift for amateur astronomers of all ages. It projects the view of the starry sky onto any flat white surface. The darker the room, the better: an image of the starry sky will be brighter.

A ceiling or a wall will be perfect for the projection. Place the device at a 1.5–2 m distance to the "screen", insert a chosen slide, and turn on the astroplanetarium. You will see 10,000 stars of the Northern Hemisphere. The astroplanetarium comes with 2 slides. One slide shows stars as dots, just like you see them by the naked eye. Another slide has constellations highlighted with light outlines. You can rotate the projection slide; the whole projection rotates accordingly.

You can rotate the astroplanetarium body to adjust the projection angle and direct the lens vertically or horizontally. The slides are inserted into the disc tray on the front panel. The ring around the lens is used for focusing. The astroplanetarium runs on 4 AA batteries (not included).

This device comes with a planisphere (a rotating star chart). It shows what constellations and astronomy objects you can observe in different months and at certain time of the day.
