Meade #600 Glass White-Light Solar Filter

Meade's all new Glass White-Light Solar Filters are the perfect accessory to transform your telescope into a SAFE way to view the Sun! Available in 10 different sizes for viewing and imaging the Sun in white-light. Our aluminum housing, reflective helios solar glass filters block 99.999% of incoming light for protection and are ISO certified, guaranteeing safety with correct use. Easy attachment with three screws (included).

Warning: Meade White-Light Solar Filters are only intended for closed tube telescopes and should not be used with open truss designs such as the Meade 10, 12 and 16" LightBridge Dobsonians. Incident sunlight allowed in by the open tube design could cause damage to the telescope optics and on these designs will cause instant and irreversible eye damage potentially including permanent blindness. A light shroud is not sufficient protection from harmful solar rays.
