Description

The LX85 Series 6" MAK has a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design for pinpoint star images and extraordinary contrast, making it a great deep sky performer and ideal for detailed lunar and planetary observation as it easily soars to high magnifications. Features a 6" (150mm) aperture, 1800mm focal length, and f/12 focal ratio. Equipped with an internal single speed focuser and Ultra High Transmission Coatings (UHTC) for the improvement of brighter star clusters, more fine detail in nebulae, and greater surface features on planets. Includes (2) 1.25" Plössl eyepieces (9.7mm & 26mm) and a viewfinder (8x50 optical with crosshair) along with a Vixen-style dovetail. With included accessories, the OTA weighs 5.7kg (12lbs. 7oz.) and has dimensions of 19x46cm (7.5x18.1").
