A Meade Infinity 50mm AZ Refractor Telescope is an entry-level instrument that allows observations of the Moon, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn. Through this model, you will also be able to see Pleiades star cluster and Orion nebula. It is also suitable for terrestrial viewing. The telescope’s key features are ease of use and rich accessory set. Everything needed for observations is already included in the package.
The telescope is installed on Alt-azimuth mount. With its help, you can move the optical tube vertically and horizontally. Navigation on objects of your interest is quick and easy. Getting acquainted with the instrument and its handling will take you only a few minutes. The tripod is made of aluminum; its height is adjustable in a wide range. If needed, you can install an accessory tray on the tripod legs.
The kit includes all necessary optical accessories – three eyepieces that allow you to choose magnification between 30x and 150x. A 2x Barlow lens also included with the telescope doubles the power of optics. 90° diagonal mirror provides correctly oriented images for terrestrial observations.
Download special astronomy planetarium software on the producer’s official website. AutoStar Suite Astronomer Edition software will help you learn the night sky. It displays more than 10,000 celestial objects including planets, stars, galaxies and nebulas. You can print out star charts and even plan your observing session. It operates on any Windows based PC.
