Description

The Levenhuk Blitz 70 PLUS achromatic refractor is a great choice for a novice astronomer. You can observe the solar system planets with their satellites, some deep-sky objects as well as a detailed image of the Moon. This telescope can also be used for terrestrial observations.

It features glass lenses with an anti-reflective coating. The optics transmits the sharp and clear image without optical distortions. The kit includes three eyepieces for space exploration, an erecting eyepiece for terrestrial observations as well as a Barlow lens and a diagonal mirror so that you can vary the magnification range when observing. However, if that's not enough, you can always purchase additional accessories. The telescope features a standard focuser of 31.75-millimeter (1.25-inch), so it is compatible with most of all the accessories available on sale.

An equatorial mount uses manual operation. A counterweight is used for balancing. Focusing is performed using two slow-motion control knobs. The aluminum tripod height is adjustable. There is an accessory tray.
