We proudly present the Discovery optics series that is produced by Levenhuk and endorsed by Discovery.

The Levenhuk Discovery Spark Travel 60 telescope will please any beginner astronomy enthusiast. The refractor comes in a colorful gift box where, in addition to the telescope itself, you will find all of the necessary accessories, such as a tripod, a carrying case, and the “Space. Non-empty emptiness” knowledge book. This colorfully illustrated encyclopedia provides many interesting insights into the night sky so that you can proceed with your observations with the proper theoretical background.

The Levenhuk Discovery Spark Travel 60 model performs well when studying the lunar surface and observing terrestrial objects during the day. Bright objects of near and deep space can be seen in the sky as glowing spots. The lenses of the telescope are made of optical glass with an anti-reflective coating, which increases the quality and visibility of an image. In addition, there are achromatic optics, i.e., color distortions do not interfere with the observation.

The telescope tube is mounted on a simple alt-azimuth fork mount for azimuth and altitude movement. It has a lock knob for smoother, more accurate adjustment. The telescope can be easily assembled and adjusted by a user of any skill level. The tripod is made of aluminum and has a tray in the center. Its compartments are useful for placing accessories, and this kit has more than enough: 4 eyepieces, a diagonal mirror, and a powerful 3x Barlow lens.

Key features:

  • Achromatic refractor with an anti-reflective coating
  • All that you need for lunar and terrestrial observation
