That is why you can observe solar eclipses and transits of plants against the solar disk through LUNT binoculars. The optics features will also suffice to study sunspots. You can’t use LUNT binoculars for classic surveillance.

LUNT Engineering Binoculars for observing the Sun

Lunt Solar Binoculars – an unusual alternative to a beginner level telescope. Absolutely unique observations will become available to you with LUNT solar binoculars. They make it possible to view sunspots, solar eclipses and transits of plants against the solar disk without any vision concerns. And binoculars remain compact, light and ergonomic. However, please remember that it is recommended to observe solar activity in short periods regularly letting your eyes rest. The time of continuous observation must not exceed several minutes.

Using LUNT binoculars, one can see large sunspots that appear in a large quantity in the years of maximum solar activity. You can see smaller spots available on the Sun now through the telescope as well. In addition, light formations will also be visible, i.e. faculae. Spots and faculae on the Sun also create a different picture every day: new appear, and old disappear, and the star itself rotates around its axis.

LUNT Engineering Binoculars provide an opportunity to see the planet details at the refractor level. Engineering series includes optical devices for viewing both the Sun and the night-time sky.
